Purpose SG music career started to make wave in 2010 along side other local rappers from Thohoyandou, Purpose SG used to freestyle on local radio station Univen Fm located at University of venda during Saturday show

Then from 2011 Purpose SG started to work or record solo projects
He used and still write his own lyrics, and still underated

In 2017 Purpose SG record and released My Signature Mixtape with songs like Anna, One night and Right Now, My Signature Mixtape was available for live streaming and download on Reverbnation
Purpose SG became on top of the chart on position 1 on Hip-hop category

2017 Purpose SG worked with various artists such as Jookz and Tracy
On Cosmo city mixtape in Johannesburg South Africa

In 2018 Purpose SG Released and recorded his first solo album titled Redemption featuring songs like Umama wam, The dont Get it, lucified,
and its not over
