Quame Nkrumah

Bio

Arden Anafo Pius, the only son of the late His Royal Majesty Peter Kingsley Nkrumah Arden (known as Kofi Nkrumah) and Madam Doris Bimpong, carries a name rich in heritage and tradition. Born on a Saturday, he was given the traditional name Quame, as is customary for all male children born on that day. His brand name, Quame Nkrumah, beautifully blends his father's legacy with his own identity, honoring both his father's name and his traditional roots.

Quame Nkrumah is a multifaceted artist whose passion for the arts is reflected in every note and word he creates. As a songwriter, producer, critic, and poet, his journey began in high school in 2007, where he collaborated with local artists as a keyboardist and contributed to their songwriting. His love for music led him to study Music Criticism at the Central Institute of Music, deepening his understanding of the craft.

Quame furthered his education at the Central Institute of Music, where he specialized in Music Criticism, sharpening his analytical skills and deepening his understanding of the art form. In early 2024, Quame embarked on a new journey, focusing on creating his own sound, and is set to release his debut EP titled Akinka, an Akan word meaning "feeling." His writing and compositions resonate with themes of love, peace, unity, harmony, political and social issues, and the preservation of Mother Nature. Quame Nkrumah is an artist who is not only dedicated to his craft but also committed to using his voice to inspire change and promote positive values through his art.
