Samstar99 born Samuel Fernando Cuna (11th January 1999),is a hip hop songwriter,performer,rapper and a self taught producer.Although both his parents were born in Mozambique,he was born and raised in the South of Johannesburg (South Africa) what he calls "The South"/"The 2190".

Samstar99 started taking an interest in music ever since he was young.He decided to pursue music as a career in 2015 while he was still in high school. He says "music is the best way for him to express himself and talk about his views,feeling,ambitious,desires and dreams".Samstar99 also states that his music is inspired by his everyday life experiences,what he's witness and what he desires.
