South African vocalist Sludy is known for his Hip-Hop/R&B/Afro Pop/House -style vocals, which are featured in his own hit songs as well as collaborations with various artists from any other genres unbounded. He is better known by his hit single” Release My Stress”
Who Is Sludy?
Sludy was born Moses Masilela, Originally known As the last ingredient. Sludy came from a musical background. He attended His grade 1 in Mashung Primary (Ga Matlala Ramoshebo) later Elandskraal Primary (7stad Elandskraal) and completed his High School in Lepelle Secondary in 2004.
Sludy started as dancers and learned to write his first song by the age of 10, He has only one brother “David” who encourages his love for music,Hip Hop and R&B back in the 90s plus.
Sludy is not just a lyricist, but also a producer and recorded each track on his soon to be released 20 tracks album, it is the spice of all genres, the album name: “Now Or Never” Ever since... he never stops dreaming. After writing stories and poems as a child, he put to music some lyrics about things that are happening in our daily lives. He released multiple singles such as “Modimo Wa Lerato,- “Lengoloi”,-“ Moshimana Lebowa”-“Leeto” –“It Breaks My Heart” and many more, which brought him to the attention.
Sludy grew up around precarious friends and street activities, but he seemed more influenced than harmed by it. He was a good student who enjoyed writing, first stories and poems, and then lyrics. He won Art and Culture competition and Perfomed with various artist such as: Zola, Solly Mogolo, Mdu Masilela, Kabelo Mabalane from Tkzee and More.
Sludy’s mission is simply to deliver great music to the people and have fun while doing so, his passion for music is what kept him writing and Producing beats instead of out on the streets, He focused on showing the music industry that his talent warrants their recognition and will continue to persevere until that goal is reached. , His Key sentence “please let the music speak for itself”
