Tionge Angella Banda

Tionge Angella Banda is a multifaceted event professional with expertise in Event organization, stage management, and dance choreography. Tionge has successfully coordinated productions like Set it Off, an all-female creative event empowering women in the arts.

Notably, She led the Lake of Stars team as Lead Stage Manager and Site Coordinator during the festival from 5th to 8th September, showcasing her exceptional skills in managing large-scale events.

In addition to her event management expertise, Tionge is a skilled dance practitioner who has hosted workshops at prominent festivals, including the Cape Maclear Carnival Festival, Easter Theatre Festival, and Ethno Mozambique. Her passion for dance and community engagement has allowed her to share her knowledge and inspire others through movement, while also promoting cultural exchange and understanding.

Following a transformative Grl Pwrd training in music business, facilitated by Kim of Diamonds of Diamond Standards in 2023, Tionge gained the confidence to fully immerse herself in artist management. She is now dedicated to supporting young talent, leveraging her industry expertise to empower emerging artists.

With a passion for events, music, dance, and digital marketing, She brings a unique perspective to her work. When not producing exceptional events, she enjoys exploring new places, appreciating art, and embracing nature's beauty.

As one of only two female stage managers in Malawi, Tionge is a trailblazer dedicated to delivering solutions-focused results. With an open mind and a willingness to adapt, she is constantly evolving and growing in her profession.
