Yallunder

Yallunder is a classically trained vocalist who uses her vocal techniques and versatility to execute several musical genres.
Having graduated cum laude for vocal pedagogy at the Tshwane University of Technology in 2017, Yolanda worked at the Gauteng Opera in 2018.

She has been invited to perform at Black Coffee's exclusive Music is King concert (where she shared the stage with high profile artists such as Monique Bingham, Thandiswa Mazwai and Moneoa). Starting her professional relationship with Sjava has seen her perform with him on LiveAmp on the #SjavaSpecial episode, as well as at the One Night with Sjava concerts (Sun Arena & Durban ICC).

In August 2020 Yallunder and fellow stable mates collaborated to create the first body of work from 1020 Cartel - iSambulo (africori.to/isambulo). On the album, Yallunder's enchanting voice 'brings the pots' on the tracks Ndinovalo, Inhliziyo and Abanjani.

Yallunder's first solo project in the form of an EP titled, Uthando Lwam. Mastered by the amazing ear of Ruff Nkosi, with the collaboration of numerous producers and instrumentalists to bring about different sounds colours and textures to the project. Featured artists on Uthando Lwam include Sjava, Nue_Sam and upcoming talent Inno Motong.
