Buttercup

Buttercup is a soulful singer and songwriter whose music takes you on a journey of love and the pursuit of happiness.

Growing up in the East Rand, Buttercup was exposed to jazz and blues music via her fathers jazz bar in Thokoza. Buttercups sound has since evolved into a neo soul and country sound, a sound pronounced through a live music experience. Buttercup has peformed at the We Are One music festival in 2018, and a number of intimate events, like the opening of Xavier in Maboneng.
