CHRISTINA AMOS NJIGE

My name is Christina Amos Njige, a young lady who graduated from the University of Dar es Salaam in 2023 with a B.A. in music. My primary activities include organising events in various locations and performing music, particularly as a trumpet player at concerts. I have experience planning various music events. I was a stage manager general secretary and assistant coordinator for the university's Sanaa Blast Festival in several years, which featured over 30 acts over the course of two days and drew close to a thousand people. Creating distinctive performance experiences for various audiences was something I learnt how to do from my involvement in other events, such as Wikiendi Live at Nafasi Arts Space, Chigogo Music Festival, and Singeli to the World. In order to hone my skills, I have attended various trainings in gender studies, music, and event management. These have improved my contribution to teams and raised my awareness of the workplace environment. I am a layman when it comes to social media, but I am keen to learn how to use them wisely.
