Mayo-san

Obilo-Josiah Ebenezer Chukwuebuka, professionally known as Mayo-san, is a Nigerian singer, producer, songwriter and novelist (although, he writes as Ben Neyzer), born on the 22nd of June, 2000.

Early life and Education

Mayo-san is a native of Abia State but was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He attended a lot of schools as he grew up but ended up studying Computer Science in Abia State University, Uturu (2017-2022).

Career

Though he started singing from a very young age, he officially released his first single in 2018, under the stage name, Neyzer which later changed to OJ Neyzer in 2019. He then got signed to Keane Music in March, 2020 as a Soul and Afrobeat musician. He went on to release multiple singles, EPs and his debut album titled Sounds Of A Broken Boy in December, 2020 in which he gained popularity with the single titled "Clouds" which featured Omis. He however started coming into the limelight following the release of his EP, "DESIRE" in 2021 and is till today, keeping his listeners happy.

His stage name, Mayo-san, marked a new beginning for him especially since he was getting signed to Keane Music. Not stopping there, he went on to launch his own record label, Mayo San Music in 2021.
