Samuel Abinsinguza, better known for his stage name Samie Smilz, is a Christian, award-winning gospel artist, instrumentalist RnB/Pop, singer-songwriter.

Born in 1990 and raised in a small village of Bugangari in Rukungiri District in Western Uganda and one of 6 Children. (4 boys and 2 girls)

Graduated with A Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering at Makerere University. Married: To Amy Abinsinguza

Likes: Wild Adventure, Sugar Cane, Chapati, local pancakes and reading inspirational books when not playing guitar
Dislikes: Genetically modified yellow bananas.

Short Testimony: “I was bullied into following Jesus” “In my first year in high school, the big boys used to bully us so we would run to a Christian fellowship for safety, what started as a hideout ended up becoming home. It’s in this fellowship that l gave my life to Jesus.

Intrigued with the art of songwriting and using music to tell the simplicity and yet the profundity of day to day life experiences, He captured the attention of music lovers.
