Sisa Senkosi

Sisa Senkosi (born and bred in Bulawayo) is a Zimbabwean maskandi artist based in the UK.

Senkosi grew up in the dusty streets of Magwegwe where from an early age performed in school clubs. She is also a dancer, talk show hostess and philanthropist. She started professional arts with Grassroots Theatre productions under the directorship of the late Ephson Ngadya where she was involved in theatre for development and programmes aimed at the girl child and women doing workshops on empowerment.

She later joined Siyaya Performing Arts and toured with them until 2007 and moved to the UK. Senkosi continued working with Siyaya Arts when their tours took them to the UK.
