Bio
Táyé Máyègha is an artist from Nigeria. He's currently a Ph.D. student in a Jazz Studies program whose research interest is in the interplay between American Jazz and the traditional music of Ilaje, a coastal and migratory subgroup of the Yoruba people in Nigeria. His research is evident in his innovative musical style, as he seamlessly fuses Ilaje musical elements with jazz.
