Wana Benjamin

Wana Benjamin, commonly known as Wana, is a Ugandan born record producer, music composer, audio engineer and DJ. Wana’s exceptional work ethic through his multi faceted, genre blending approach to producing and engineering music has garmered him credits on songs and albums for internationally acclaimed labels including Nyege Tapes & East African Records of Uganda, Sahel Sounds of West Africa, Mungo's Hi Fi of Scotland, Ancient Astronauts of Germany, Tentacule Records of West Africa, Grammy award nominee DJ Vadim, Grammy award winner Martin "Youth" Glover and numerous film and TV production placements as music composer, mixing engineer and sound designer on films and TV shows.

Wana is co-founder of The Bodastage distribution, a label renown for organising Uganda’s alte music event, theBodastage Party.
