The Winston Pub

The Winston is a landmark of Durban's rough and ready - lovers of live, loud and heavy music and those who seek a hideaway from the sunshiny world outside. For the past 30 years, punk, rock, metal and alternative bands have cut their teeth on a small stage in front of audiences who nod enthusiastically along, gripping their Black Label quarts to their chests and praying that the sun don't ever rise. With recently upgraded sound and lighting, a weekly line-up of events and a beer garden The Winston Pub is alive and kicking and looking forward to your patronage. The Winston also has other events such a regular pub quiz, where patrons can win vouchers for free drinks, as well as Guitar Hero.
