Yolanda Notes

Bio

Born as Yolanda Luzwati on the 30th November 1990, in a small village called Qunu in the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa. Yolanda's love for music started at an early age, with family members being her first music influences. Both Yolanda’s parents are church leaders at Assembles of God church, which is the corner stone of her love for God, which transfers in her music. Yolanda has fond memories of her childhood singing in church in front of her family and the congregation.

Yolanda Notes is her artistic name, she wants the people to know that she is a vocalist and that she takes her singing abilities seriously. Although she is still new in the music industry, her jazz background has helped hone her vocals to sing the industry gates wide open.

In 2020, she got signed to Soul Clap Sessions, a record label based in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Yolanda Notes is currently recording her debut album at Mthatha Arts Academy with the prolific music producer Musa Maki.
