Ziad Daroueche

Ziad Daroueche est un jeune auteur –compositeur originaire de L'Afrique de l'est. Ziad Daroueche is a young singer-songwriter from East Africa. Dès son plus jeune âge il débute la guitare et pratique la musique régulièrement au côté de son père guitariste qui lui transmet sa passion pour la musique et pour la scène. From a very young age he started playing the guitar and practised music regularly with his guitarist father, who passed on his passion for music and for the stage. C’est essentiellement pendant sa période estudiantine à Madagascar qu’il a développé son style basé sur la musique traditionnelle, le M’Godro, le blues et le rock. It was mainly during his student days in Madagascar that he developed his style based on traditional music, M'Godro, blues and rock. Artiste engagé, Ziad Daroueche prône la tolérance, la paix et l’espoir. Son premier EP intitulé « Maecha » ou « La vie » sorti en 2016 reflète son engagement pour l’unité . « Nous sommes tous des êtres humains, nous sommes tous égaux ». Une unité qui lui tient particulièrement à coeur, et qu’il met à l’honneur dans des morceaux comme « Discrimination » « Amani » ou encore « Uvomodja ». A committed artist, Ziad Daroueche advocates tolerance, peace and hope. His first EP entitled "Maecha" or "Life" released in 2016 reflects his commitment to unity. "We are all human beings, we are all equal". A unity that is particularly close to his heart, and which he honours in tracks such as "Discrimination", "Amani" and "Uvomodja". En 2006, il obtient le prix franco-jeune de la création littéraire des alliances françaises de l'océan indien. il est également titulaire d'un master 1 en histoire obtenu à l'université de LaRéunion. In 2006, he was awarded the Franco-Youth Prize for Literary Creation by the French Alliances of the Indian Ocean.He also holds a master's degree in history from the University of Réunion. Ziad Daroueche est installé et vit à la Réunion. Il s’associe à de nombreux évènements culturels sur l'île (séchoir, kabardock, rondavelles...) mais aussi dans tout l’océan indien (Madagascar, Comores, Mayotte...), ainsi qu’en Afrique et en France métropolitaine. Ziad Daroueche lives in Reunion Island. He is involved in many cultural events on the island (séchoir, kabardock, rondavelles...) but also in the whole Indian Ocean (Madagascar, Comoros, Mayotte...), as well as in Africa and in mainland France Artiste montant, il a été sollicité cette année pour assurer les premières parties de Tony Allen (ancien batteur de fela kuti) et Baloji, lors de leur venue à la Réunion. A rising artist, he was asked this year to open for Tony Allen (former drummer of fela kuti) and Baloji, when they came to Réunion
