Top stars from Uganda and Rwanda to perform at HiPipo Awards
Sheebah, Bebe Cool, Irene Namatovu, Bobi Wine, Ziza Bafana and Rwanda’s Urban Boyz among artists to perform at HiPipo Music Awards.
Sizzling hot performances have been lined for the third prestigious HiPipo Music Awards, slated for Saturday 7 February at Wonder World Auditorium (former Didi’s World) in Kansanga, Kampala. The awards will be graced by some of the biggest artists in the Ugandan music industry, Rwanda’s top-notch artists as well as other dynamic artists and dancers from Uganda.
Performances from the top brass artists include acts by the ghetto president H.E Bobi Wine, the CEO of Gagamel International Bebe Cool, the Queen of Team No Sleep (TNS) Sheebah as well as the first lady of the New Eagles, Irene Namatovu. All these four are not only exciting performers but have also crafted songs that kept fans on their toes in the previous Music year.
From Bebe Cool’s 'Love You Everyday' to Sheebah’s 'Twasena' and 'Go Down Low', as well as Bobi Wine’s 'Size Yo', fans will sure have a magical treat. Irene Namatovu’s 'Kuzaala Kujagaana' has turned into a household anthem and a sure she will get fans shaking to this Afro-folk tune.
The fast rising ragga-dancehall star Ziza Bafana will also entertain revellers and guests. Forget his magnum opus hit 'Gyayo Ntekeyo', Bafana’s 'Pomini' has put dancefloors on fire all over the country and he sure will get fans on their fit on 7 February at Wonder World.
This hot line-up also includes a flavour from Rwanda’s Urban Boyz, a Rwandan R&B Afropop group composed of James Manzi (Humble Jizzo), Safi Niyibikora (Safi Lee) and Muhammed Nshimiyimana (Nizzo). They are, with no doubt, Rwanda’s leading music group and they will perform at the 3rd Prestigious HiPipo Music Awards.
Other performances will also include acts from The Ghetto Kids (the same kids in Sitya Loss), Uganda’s leading dance crew and Sakata representatives Trojans, religious music artist Swahaba Kasumba who will put the house on fire with Mataali dancers, as well as Betina Namukasa and Juju.
With such a line-up of acts and a few more surprise performances, the 3rd Prestigious HiPipo Music awards will be entertaining and good value for your money!
Tickets go for 20,000 (Gold), 50,000 (Platinum VIP) and 100,000 (Diamond VVIP) Ugandan Shillings.
