New compilation showcases best in South African house
Over the past 10 years house music was become the signature sound of South African youth culture. With growing interested in SA house from across the world, two of South Africa's most important independent record labels, African Cream Music and Soul Candi, have come together for a brand new compilation showcasing the finest house music to come out of the country in recent years.
Featuring 11 club hits and crossover anthems from some of the nation's most talented artists, The Essential South African House Trip 2015 is a must-have for any DJs or ravers worth their salt. The compilation was released on 7 August and is distributed by Africori.
The album showcases sublime tracks from the phenomenal super-group Mi Casa, international mainstay Cuebur, Metro FM DJ Mo Flava, as well as recent hits from relative newcomers Andyboi and Hyenah, this stunning album covers the full spectrum from a nation that has become the biggest consumer of house music in the world.
