Bai Babu to launch ‘Ajjbasakaw’

“The 10-track album is titled ‘Ajjbasakaw’, a local Wolof word meaning ‘Aim High’, produced by Joluv Arts Entertainment. All the tracks were recorded in The Gambia,” Bai Babu explained.

The sensational singer back in November 2013 launched his first hit mixtape dubbed ‘Dama Yii’, which was a resounding success. Since then, he has thrived.

With fans across the country, all eyes are on his forthcoming event. His earlier music video Attitude Girl resonated strongly. The video was released 19 October and was recorded at Xalam Studio by Tra. It was mixed and mastered by Papis Conateh.

It features another rising Gambian singer—Fafa. The song released in February and still is relevant in the Gambia.

Bai Babu was signed to Joluv Arts Entertainment on 18 March 2014. A three-year contract, the deal took the rap Mbalax star to a professional level.
