Tekno, 2 Baba, others to provide ‘Eargasm’ for Valentine's

This year’s edition takes place at the Eko Convention Centre on 11 February, and is themed, “An Evening of Classic Tunes & Pleasant Surprises”.

An edition of the concert held in 2015 and featured 2 Baba (then known as 2face), Victor Uwaifo and Shina Peters. Unlike the forthcoming edition which has Lagos as venue, the earlier event took place in the Nigerian capital Abuja.

Eargasm: An Evening of Classic Tunes & Pleasant Surprises will open at 7pm. It will see performances by a slew of Nigerian musicians including: Adekunle Gold, Timi Dakolo, Yinka Davies, Niyola, Kelly Hansome, Acetune, a capella group, Chord and Sir Shina Peters. DJ Neptune will man the DJ booth while comedian Bovi is host of the event.

According to a statement by the organisers, the concert features a “line-up of top class vocalists gearing up to mesmerize the guests with soul-stirring performances at what is designed to be a premium concert experience for the grown and sexy in the season of love.”

The event is put together by Eko Hotel and Suites in partnership with Buckwyld Media Network, the latter of which is responsible for such events as the 2face: Fortified concert and the Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless events.
