The Norway-based artist has recently been enjoying the attention of Hollywood. ‘Work’ is Stella’s third single in her new self-titled EP. While ‘Big Girl’ was leased to Donut Media – an American production company that produces TV and YouTube content on motorsports and auto news as well as prank videos – ‘Set It Off’ was recently featured on BET Africa’s, Being Mary Jane Season 4.
Stella's EP is a fusion of high energy songs with a distinct hip hop flow that excites her fans across the globe. Fusing Swahili and English in her songs, Stella continues to create a diverse sound while remaining authentic to her African origin and style.
Celebrated for hit songs like ‘Haba Haba’, ‘Biashara’, ‘Lookie Lookie’ and ‘Hoola Hoop’ featuring Mohombi, Stella is one of Africa's unique female artistes dabbling in the genres of hip hop, rap, afro pop, reggae, dance and world music. The singer/songwriter is also a rapper, live performer, and creative music director. She is also the founder of Vaa Ki Afrika – a sprouting Scandinavian fashion web store selling Kenyan fashion abroad.
Her latest music project, the self-titled EP – Stella Mwangi – was released in 2016. Listen to the EP on iTunes at https://itun.es/ke/eucnfb or on Soundcloud at http://bit.ly/2ecnbnp.
