Dbanj Records (formerly DB Records) was founded by Nigerian Music Superstar D’Banj, and a group of young successful music stars, Kay Switch, Jay Sleek, Dee Vee, Jsoul), shortly after the dissolution of Mo'Hits Records, which Dbanj jointly owned with Don Jazzy.

The label has successfully built on the platform of the strong profiles of its founders and is one of the strongest players in the Nigerian Music Industry, recently signing on Nollywood superstar- Tonto Dikeh, unto the label.
