Call for applications: Creativity Pioneers Support Fund in Italy
The Moleskine Foundation in Milan, Italy, is accepting applications for its international Creativity Pioneers Support Fund micro granting programme. This grant targets non-profit organisations and institutions that use creativity as a tool for social change and are currently facing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Selected applicants shall receive €5 000 ($5 900) and will be responsible for any tax associated with the funds.
Eligibility
To be considered, applicants must:
- Demonstrate that they have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 situation within the last 12 months (financial statements, reduction in capacity or activity and programming compared to the same period a year before, impossibility to implement key steps to launch a new organisation, impossibility to adapt to the new reality, e.g. digitalisation, etc).
- Complete and submit applications in English.
- Officially be recognised in the country of operation.
Election process
Applications will be selected based on:
- Relevance and urgency – The applicant must demonstrate how the grant will help them overcome the current pandemic and project their organisation towards the future.
- Quality – The applicant’s innovativeness and unconventionality of creative solutions to overcome the pandemic.
- Social transformation and ecosystemic impact – The applicant’s capacity to directly or indirectly foster positive systemic change in relevant individuals and society at multiple levels.
- Influence and integrity – The applicant’s ability to drive growth and change perceptions around the “creativity for social change” field and cultural and creative industries.
- Areas of intervention – The applicant’s education, arts and culture, social justice, minorities inclusion. Priority shall be given to organisations focused on inclusivity, diversity, supporting minority groups and underserved communities.
Note:
- Each organisation can only apply once.
- Organisations working with young adults aged between 16 and 27 will be preferred.
- Proposals submitted by political parties or religious associations are not accepted.
- All recipients are required to provide a final report by 30 June 2022.
