Pearl Khumalo

Pearl Khumalo is soulful singer and songwriter whose professional singing journey with a band, transitioned to a duo then matured to a solo jazz vocalist. Pearl's sounds are inspired by Jazz, Neo Soul and Deep House, with collaborations spread across a range of different artists from deep house, chill hop producers. Pearl Khumalo has a soothing sound that evokes a spirit of calmness and centring. With each note she intentionally tells stories of introspection and triumph as we interact with the world around us.

Pearl had done an array of corporate live events including the Department of Sports and Arts & Culture Puisano Live Music Competition. On the 26th of February 2022, Pearl Khumalo headlined at the iconic Niki's Jazz Restaurant in Newton. She immerses herself in the music industry scene as she has completed The Music Business Short Learning Programme with Boston City Campus and Soulcandi sponsored by SAMRO.

On November 13th 2020, Pearl was featured on a house song by J Moscow released under Ganyani Entertainment. The single was promoted on The Unplugged Elite Nights with Kgomotso Meso on KayaFm. Pearl was also featured by Vic Mover in 2021 on the song titled Qiniso. Pearl's debut jazz single 'Shadow', mastered by seasoned engineer Tim Lengfeld, released on the 27th August 2021.
