Call for entries: 2022 Mzansi Kwaito and House Music Awards
The organisers of the Mzansi Kwaito and House Music Awards (MKHMAs) are calling on South African artists to submit entries ahead of the awards ceremony’s seventh edition on 26 November.
Artists should read the rules and regulations before submitting their entries.
All entries should be submitted online before 30 April.
“I encourage all artists to send in their entry forms and make sure that they read the rules and regulations before they fill in the entry forms, as this will give them a proper guidance to avoid disqualification,” MKHMAs CEO Perfecta Malinga said.
“We have so many surprises. One of the notable changes for 2022 is that we have added two new categories that will be honouring upcoming producers and radio personalities for the hard work they’ve put in within the music industry and making sure that kwaito continues to live on. The Best Amapantsula/Isibujwa Dance Group category had to be brought back because what is kwaito without our dancers?”
