Register for Sound Connects Fund Information Sessions

The sessions are aimed at informing prospective applicants about the application process of the Sound Connects Fund and answering relevant questions from potential applicants. 

The SCF will host two grant information sessions for English and Portuguese speakers, which will be streamed live via Zoom (for Q&A sessions and discussions) and the Music In Africa Facebook page.

Prospective applicants are invited to sign up in order to receive a streaming link for these session as scheduled below: 

Portuguese session

Venue: Zoom and in-person at Centro Cultural Moçambicano-Alemão, Avenida Samora Machel n. 468, entrada pela Rua da Rádio (em frente a Catedral), Maputo.

About the Sound Connects Fund

The Sound Connect Fund is an initiative of the Music In Africa Foundation in partnership with Goethe-Institut and made possible with funding from the ACP-EU Culture Programme – a project implemented by the Secretariat of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States and funded by the European Union (EU). The Sound Connects Fund is also co-funded by Goethe-Institut and Siemens Stiftung. The fund supports creatives in nine Southern African countries, namely Mozambique, Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and eSwatini.
