Call for applications: Creative entrepreneurship programme in SA
Goethe-Institut South Africa is calling on creative entrepreneurs to submit applications for the Cav’ Townships Pusha Entrepreneurship Programme.
The programme welcomes applications from township-based creative entrepreneurs who would like to turn their ideas into creative businesses.
It comprises a 28-day virtual pre-incubation programme for creative entrepreneurs with creative and/or digital or tech-enabled ideas such as digital storytelling, photography, animation, VR/AR and gaming, among others.
The programme makes use of a business toolkit developed by the Cav’ Townships project to guide entrepreneurs through the process of refining their business ideas and developing a business plan for access into incubation programmes.
The programme will offer:
- Online workshops (1.5 hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
- Mentorship.
- Co-development of a business idea MVP/MVS (sample product or service).
- Resilience and pitch preparation.
Interested applicants can complete the application form here before 10 April. The programme will commence online on 25 April.
Applications will be adjudicated by a panel of judges. Applicants will be required to attend all training workshops and pitch preparation. Women are encouraged to apply.
