Call for entries: Stimorol music workshops and showcases for aspiring musicians
South African chewing gum brand Stimorol is calling on aspiring musicians and fans to enter its FlowLab competition for a chance to participate in music-making workshops and showcases, among other prizes, which all form part of the company's new promotional campaign.
The initiative aims to connect aspiring musicians to the broader music community including their fans. It comprises a digital platform, educational workshops featuring knowledge exchange and studio sessions, as well as several live events in different regions to showcase emerging talent. The workshops will enable emerging musicians to connect with their peers, as well as upskill their craft with the help of established artists including Aubrey Qwana and Musa Keys, Major Steez and Dee Koala. Additionally, music fans will also be able to unlock exclusive content and win prizes.
The objective of the campaign is to provide more access to music makers who are in the early stages of their music careers by opening doors, building communities and creating opportunities. Stimorol has also made a commitment to pay for and prioritise the use of content such as visual and audio outputs from the campaign’s participants, instead of using stock samples and images for its brand assets.
