NEA Awards: Wizkid and Davido go head to head

Alongside other acts, both Wizkid and Davido are nominees in a number of categories. Both are up for the ‘Best Single award: Davido for ‘If’; Wizkid for ‘Come Closer’. Also nominated are Tekno’s ‘Pana’ and Olamide’s ‘Who You Epp’. Both acts are also up for Best Afropop Male Male Artist award as well as Best Collabo. Wizkid's hit with Drake 'Come Closer' gets the nod in that category, as CDQ's 'Ko Funny' gets Davido into the category. In the Best Video category, Davido's 'If' and Wizkid's 'Come Closer' are nominated.

The 2017 edition of the NEA will take place on 3 September in New York. List of music industry nominees below:
