Tatenda recently completed her Music Business course at Music Crossroads Academy, and she launched a social event called Ku-Mbira Lounge which is a platform that promotes inspiring conversations between emerging and seasoned female creatives while telling our stories through mbira music, original musical compositions, poems accompanied by mbira instrument and other forms of story telling. Since the Covid 19 Pandemic she has been giving youngsters private lessons in the mbira and acoustic guitar. She now works part-time as a music instructor at Kufunda Village School.
