Gabriel Espi & Friends

Gabriel Espi returns to The Commons with a special set of original music featuring old favourites along with new material from his upcoming full-length album debut. He’ll be accompanied by a group of musicians who have spent the last year playing together and developing musical friendships and understanding.

As a songwriter, performer and producer, Gabriel loves finding music in every little corner of life and working with unusual grooves and intimate themes. His unique style takes as much inspiration from Brazilian music’s style of singing and playing guitar as from jazz’s harmony and hip hop’s rhythm and feel.
