Call for applications: Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme 2023
Applications are currently ongoing for the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneurship Programme 2023, which rewards successful applicants with seed capital of $5 000, among other benefits.

TEF operates with the vision of empowering people across Africa, catalysing economic growth, driving poverty eradication and ensuring job creation. It believes the private sector’s role is critical for the continent’s development and that the private sector must create both social and economic wealth.
Over the years, the foundation has empowered more than 15 000 young African entrepreneurs across the continent through a $100m commitment.
The application is open to entrepreneurs of all persuasions, including those operating in music and other creative industries. People from all 54 African countries with scalable business ideas or a business that has been operational for no more than five years may apply.
The application deadline is 31 March.
Application requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age and above.
- All businesses must be business ideas or early-stage companies, in the range of zero to five years old.
