Derek Mazarura was born on 13 March 1992 in Mutoko.

Fusing reggie genres, Jah Mars followed this album with ‘Ndinouya dhiya' in 2016. In 2017 he released his single songs , ' Ex ft TeeKay', another commercial success, with hits such as 'Ndairova ngoma', 'Dai wakandiudza', 'Toenda Kundari ft Teekay ,Jah Prayzah and Diamond remix', 'Mamayera' and the title track.
