Stonebwoy announces North America tour in support of new album

The eight-city tour commences in Duluth, Minnesota, at the Bayfront Reggae and World Music Festival and concludes at the Afro Nation festival in Detroit, Michigan, on 20 August.

On the road, Stonebwoy will perform songs from his extensive catalogue, most notably off the new collection. 

“I’m thrilled to bring my music and the energy of the 5th Dimension album to my fans in North America,” Stonebwoy said. “This tour is a chance to connect with them on a deeper level and share the incredible experience we’ve created with this new album.”

Signed to Def Jam Africa, Stonebwoy has been a dominant presence in Ghana’s pop scene since 2012, fusing Afropop, dancehall and reggae. At the recently held 2023 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the artist took home the Best Reggae and Dancehall Artist award for a record seventh time.

The news follows a recent tour of Europe from March to May across Europe. The 12-city tour included stops in London, Manchester, Hamburg, Cologne, Berlin and Amsterdam, among others.
