Watch Harmonize’s Single Again Remix video ft. Nkosazana Daughter
Tanzanian artist Harmonize has released the video to his ‘Single Again Remix’ featuring South African singer Nkosazana Daughter.
Shot in South Africa by Justin Campos, the video promises a visual feast, complementing Harmonize’s signature lyricism and Nkosazana Daughter’s soulful vocals.
The remake follows an earlier version featuring Nigerian popstar Ruger, as Harmonize seeks to expand the reach of his music to a wider audience and gain continental appeal.
The original track, ‘Single Again’, has already achieved remarkable success, surpassing 25 million views on YouTube and received impressive streams on Boomplay and Spotify.
‘Single Again’ was featured in two Spotify playlists – African Heat Presents… Best Afro Songs of 2023 and Gone Abroad Presents: Global African Hits of 2023 – with Harmonize the only artist from East and Central Africa on the latter.
Asked about the secret behind the success of ‘Single Again’, Harmonize said it could be credited to his willingness to be expressive and being unafraid to colour his music with the shades of his life experiences.
The song has not only found a place in the hearts of music enthusiasts but has also earned the admiration of industry heavyweights such as Don Jazzy, Davido and Mr P (P-Square). Other celebrities like Nigerian comedians Broda Shaggi and Oga Sabinus and Real Madrid footballer Aurélien Tchouaméni have also declared their love for ‘Single Again’.
