NET Honours 2023: All the nominees

Organised by the ID Africa-owned Netng news organisation and first held in 2013, the awards celebrate top performers in Nigeria’s entertainment space. The organisers say the scheme is based on engagement from internet users on websites, social media and email newsletter channels of Netng and its affiliates including Neusroom, 234Star and Orin.

This year, awards will be presented in 24 categories, 18 via public voting. Among the most nominated musicians are Rema, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and Tiwa Savage with two nods each.

“As the African entertainment industry continues to grow significantly, Nigeria maintains its position as a leader in global achievements,” ID Africa’s regional manager for West Africa, Iretomiwa Akintunde-Johnson, said. “African music, movies, and fashion are expanding their frontiers, breaking boundaries and our entertainers are pioneering new paths.”
