Abraham Wolde

Bio

Abraham Wolde is a successful Ethiopian music producer, author, and actor who is responsible for Balageru I, II & III. He has opened a new state-of-the-art record studio in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Abraham's talent surfaced itself at age 11 when he won his first creative writing content at the world's Children's Day in Zeway. He consequently won many awards in writing and drawing; and at age 16, Abraham was recruited by Ethiopian Radio to take part in a comedy varies shows, a show that become an instant hit. Abraham then changed his gear to what he calls a voyage of self-discovery and was engaged in exploring the hidden culture heritage of Ethiopia. After this turning point in his life, Abraham turned to television as medium to expand his horizon; and between 1989 and 1992, he starred in many TV dramas like 'Shewedkwachew' and 'Atabkign'.

In early 2008, Abraham Wolde signed to RCE/Konvict Muzik (the internationally re-known artist, Akon's record company) as a producer.
He is also now making trendy, new age commercial TV advertisement for various local companies such as DKT Ethiopia, Twins Soft and Dessalegn Hotel.
