Open call: Creatives Pioneers Fund 2024
Creatives and cultural organisations around the world are invited to submit an expression of interest for Moleskine Foundation’s Creativity Pioneers Fund (CPF).
CPF catalyses transformational social change by investing in, connecting and championing cultural and creative organisations that advance bold and unconventional practices for building a more just, inclusive and equitable world. The programme supports non-profit organisations that reinforce the critical role of creativity in driving social impact and are actively involved in creative skills development.
CPF provides unrestricted funding with a €5 000 (about $5 350) grant to organisations to help sustain their essential functions and programmes. The micro-grant represents only a starting point for a more extensive and long-term collaboration system towards a platform model that provides the Creativity Pioneers with access to more financial opportunities, in-kind and know-how support, mentoring and learning opportunities, peer-to-peer exchange and networking.
Who can apply?
- Non-profit organisations that are legally registered and operating in the countries in which they operate, with no limits on geographic origin.
- Organisations that demonstrate how they centre creativity in their mission and programmes.
- Priority is given to organisations that focus their work on disadvantaged and/or marginalised communities and that work primarily with youth (16 to 27 years).
The application process
The application process adopts an inclusive approach, featuring a straightforward form where applicants are invited to delve into their organisations holistically, rather than submitting a project proposal. All information gathered is relevant for the Moleskine Foundation to comprehensively assess and analyse the sector.
To submit the application, applicants need to create a free account on the Optimy platform. The Optimy platform works best on Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported. The application form is available in multiple languages. Applicants should ensure that they are completing the form in the same language they are using to write the application. Before submitting an application, applicants should read the guidelines to see which organisations are eligible to apply, and the steps and criteria of the selection process.
The application deadline is 27 May. View frequently asked questions here.
“As a learning organisation, we deeply aim to understand the global community of Creativity Pioneers to effectively support them and amplify their narratives,” Moleskine Foundation said. “We strongly encourage you to describe your organisation in its entirety, sharing what really moves you, and the motivations driving your interest in joining the Creativity Pioneers Fund platform. Step beyond the confines of conventional grant writing language, and share with us the essence of what makes your organisation unique.”
