David Bakka

David Bakka is at the intersection of media, technology, and social impact. As an inaugural scholar at Swangz Avenue, East Africa's leading record label and creative academy, he gained recognition on CNN's Inside Africa for his contributions to bridging entertainment and social development. His experience at Swangz Academy shaped his understanding of using creative content for social impact, working with emerging artists and developing innovative approaches to storytelling.

He currently leads social enterprise at Viva con Agua, a global organization that has been transforming lives through WASH initiatives for 17 years. The organization's creative approach has attracted support from global artists including Ed Sheeran and Billie Eilish, demonstrating its ability to unite entertainment and social impact.

Through the All4WASH program, VcA Uganda is reaching over 19,000 primary school students across 20+ schools in East Africa, implementing the Universal Languages Approach (ULA) that uses music, art, and sports to drive social change.
