Bio
Established in 1944, Ethiopian National Archives and Library Agency is a public library based in Addis Ababa. Formerly known as Wemezekir, it was first inaugurated by his Majesty Imperial Haile Selassie. It was re-established as a national institution in 1999. One of its goals was the creation of a sound archives department to develop, make accessible and preserve the rich oral heritage of Ethiopian cultures.
Its working hours are Monday to Friday at 08h30am until 17h00pm.
