ACCES partners with Kenya's Sound Creations
The Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES) has partnered with leading Kenyan pro-audio distributor Sound Creations.
The partnership will see the company provide cutting-edge audio-visual equipment and technical support at the 2018 ACCES conference from 15 to 17 November.
Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, Sound Creations is a leading East African distributor of professional audio-visual, lighting and acoustical solutions. The company joins ACCES 2018 as an official technical sponsor.
“We are pleased to be the technical sponsors for ACCES 2018," Sound Creations managing director Nipul Shah said. "We believe it will be a great opportunity to interact with various industry players and also offer the participants a platform to experience our products.”
Sound Creations was launched in 2004. Since then, the company has partnered with various events and organisations in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Somalia.
The company distributes world-class brands such as L-Acoustics, dB Technologies, Shure, Allen & Heath, Rane, Focusrite, Datavideo, Chauvet DJ, Korg, Tama Drums, Ibanez, Marshall, Christie, and Sommer cables, among others.
In July, Sound Creations provided technical support at the 2018 edition of Kigali Up festival in Rwanda.
“It was a great experience for all and we are grateful for the partnerships we have made going forward. Our strength is currently in audio-visual system solution, we have only in recent years extended our interest to the music industry,” Shah said, adding that the company is keen on forging similar partnerships across sub-Saharan Africa.
“Moving forward, we foresee a lot of engagement with such platforms as ACCES. We believe Africa has great talent in music. Therefore, as suppliers and integrators of audio-visual equipment, we highly value any opportunity to work hand in hand with all players," he said.
