2018 Zim Hip Hop Awards nominees: Takura leads the list

Leading the list with seven nominations is Takura. Following him are Mariachi and Asaph with five nominations each. Kikky Badass and Ti Gonzi received three nominations each.

“Voting is only for people's choice the rest are decided by judges pannel,” the Zim Hip Hop website reads. “Four industry gurus sit as judges. The role of the judges is to guide the awards in terms of fairness and artistic merit. Fans shall be invited to vote online.

“The 2018 awards ceremony will be held in December. The ceremony shall feature live performances by some of the nominees.”

Voting begins on 21 November and the public can only vote for the People's Choice Award.
