Call for nominations: 2019 TunesLiberia Music Awards

Liberian music fans are invited to nominate the artists they believe qualify for awards at the second edition of the TunesLiberia Music Awards.

“It’s about time the fans decide who they think deserve to be nominated for the 2018 Tunesliberia Music Awards,” an official statement on the TunesLiberia website says.

“In every category, you’re to nominate six (6) candidates at most and it should be done based on the work the artist has put through the year of 2018. The essence of this fans nomination is to exercise a balanced and fair nomination process, allowing everyone to have equal rights in deciding who deserves to be nominated.”

Last year, the awards’ nomination process took place without inviting fans to take part in naming eligible artists with work released in the year under consideration. “We aim to improve on our first successful 2017 Tunesliberia Music Awards which paved the way,” a statement from the awards body says.

The second edition will be “heavily reloaded with more categories to cover every aspect of music in Liberia” and fans intending to vote are directed to download and fill this nomination form. The completed form can then be sent via email to tlmawards18@gmail.com.
