
UG Hip Hop Awards 2019: All the winners
The winners of the third edition of the UG Hip Hop Awards were announced at the MTN-Tidal Warehouse in Kampala, Uganda, on 8 February.
- Recho Rey was victorious in the Female Artist of the Year and Rookie of the Year categories.
Female rapper Recho Rey and Navio each took home two awards. Popular hip hop acts Feffe Bussi and Mun G won in the Male Rapper of the Year and Album of the Year categories, respectively.
Upcoming rapper J-Wats won in the Best Collaboration category for ‘Holla Remix’, which featured Pryce Teeba, Flex D’Paper, DelBoy, Play01 and Byg Ben.
