Call for registration: Voice training workshop in Uganda
Professional and amateur singers are invited to apply for a voice-training workshop at Xtended Ink Academy in Kampala, Uganda, from the 8 to 20 July.
Workshop facilitator and voice coach Ian Kagimbo said interested participants should be self-driven and commit to the end of the workshop.
“This is something I am going to be doing more often,” he said. “There is a set of five workshops lined up with the next taking place in September 2019.”
“I encourage all artists to apply and participate so that through mentorship they can learn how to understand how to synch their body, mind and voice. If an artist does no proper training, singers can easily shout and lose their voice or permanently damage their vocal cords.”
Registrations close on 6 July.
