Bio
Born Chitarisiro Chiketa, Mchita was born in Moscow Russia. His father is a Zimbabwean Ambassador to Russia. He spent most of his childhood traveling to places such as the UK, Iran and many others. He developed a passion for music at 11. He took several years to nurture his talent.
His debut appearance was in 2003 on Brown Sugar’s album ‘Running Laps’. He has to date released four albums namely ‘Destination Reality’ (2004), ‘2634’, ‘The Ambassador’ (2010) and ‘Red, Gold and Green’ (2013). In 2011, he released the ‘Kings Rendezvous: H.R.E’, a collaboration that he did with (Jr) Brown.
He was nominated in the Best Male category at the 2012 Zim Hip-Hop Awards. He has performed with both local and international musicians such as Metaphysics, DJ Smoove at HIFA2010, Proverb, Bongo Maffin and Sean Kingston.
