Classick

Classick is a musician from Malawi. He was born Yankho Zulu on 13 March 1993 in Zomba where he was partly raised by his single motherHe grew up listening to music by renowned U.S. hip-hop artist Nas and pop musician Michael Jackson. He met Hayze He grew up listening to music by renowned U.S. hip-hop artist Nas and pop musician Michael Jackson. He met Hayze in primary school. They later disbanded and reunited some years later at PACT Secondary School in Blantyre where they formed the duo HGA.

They have released a couple of hit Hip Hop songs including ‘This Is Africa' (T.I.A) and ‘Radio’. The two started performing at small stages in Blantyre and surrounding colleges. In 2014 they were given a platform to perform at the Lake of Stars international arts festival. They have also been performing at Mibawa Café.
