Black Missionaries
Bio
Black Missionaries is a reggae band based in Chileka, Malawi. It is mainly active in Blantyre. They sing about love and Rastafarian issues. It started off with five members namely Evison Matafale, Peter Amidu, Musamude, Anjilu, and Chizondi. Musamude, Anjilu, and Chizondi are brothers. Everson and Musamude passed on. Only three members are left with the band.
The group has so far recorded nine albums. They have performed in concerts across the country. They were silent for six years only to make a surprise appearance in 2014 at Goop Hope Center in Cape Town for the SADC Music Festival.
