Gual Ankere

Abrehet Ankere, better known as 'Gual Ankere' is a renowned Eritrean singer and veteran Freedom Fighter. Some of her songs are dedicated to Eritrean martyrs who died in the country's civil war, such as her famous song 'Hawelti Kibray' that celebrates martyrs and the city of Nacfa, Eritrea, the symbol of resistance and perseverance of the Eritrean people.
