Call for registration: 2019 Africa Music Business Summit in Lagos
The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs) are inviting stakeholders in the music industry to register ahead of the 2019 Africa Music Business Summit, which takes place at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria, on 22 November.

The summit will run under the theme, Music Business in Africa: Connecting Borderless Talents and forms part of the activities planned around the sixth edition of the AFRIMAs.
The summit aims to engender robust conversations on the economic viability and corporate benefits of the interconnectivity of African music industry players and their corresponding national economies, the AFRIMAs said.
Music professionals and policymakers from across the continent are expected to attend the event, where they will discuss different areas of the music business, including music publishing, distribution and the evolution of the music market.
The summit will feature a panel discussions featuring Universal Music managing director Sipho Dlamini (South Africa), Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria chairperson Sarah Boulos, Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria president Dr Obi Casmir and Africori CEO Yoel Kenan (South Africa), among others.
“I will be speaking on the topic of the music business as it relates to the GDP of Nigeria," Casmir said. "I will shed light on how the music business can be of great benefit to our nation. I've been a professional in the music industry with more than 25 years of experience. I welcome the rest of the world to join us in Lagos. Come and feel African culture”.
Joining the panellists to share their experience in the music industry are artists Salatiel (Cameroon), DJ Moh Green (Algeria) and Kanvee Adams (Liberia).
The 2019 Africa Music Business Summit will take place at the Grand Ballroom from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
